Description

This vibrant Chimichurri Sauce is the perfect bite of fresh herbs, vinegar, garlic and heat. It pairs perfectly with grilled meats and can also be used as a light salad dressing.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/3 cup Flat Leaf Italian Parsley Leaves, loosely packed (remove most of the stems)
  • 1/3 cup Cilantro Leaves, loosely packed (remove most of the stems)
  • Himalayan Pink Salt, to taste
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Purée: To the food processor, add the parsley, cilantro, garlic, red wine, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper. Process to combine.
  2. Oil: On low speed, slowly add the olive oil and blend until smooth.
  3. Refrigerate: Let chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes up to an hour before serving.
