Fresh Garden Salsa! This salsa is super fresh and is loaded with tons of great flavor. It takes just minutes to throw together, and is great as a healthy snack or fun meal add-on.

One of my all-time favorite things to make during the summer is my homemade Fresh Garden Salsa because of all the fresh veggies. It’s super simple, quick, and it satisfies everyone’s snack craving! It’s just one of those things you truly can’t get enough of! But, this salsa isn’t just for summer… It’s perfect for a game day appetizer, an add-on for a Mexican style dinner or a fun snack.
I mean, this salsa recipe is SO popular in my house that it has become a “must have” staple ALL year round.
And if that’s not proof enough for you that this is the real deal… Last Spring, my stepson randomly asked me one day, “Are we planting a garden this year so we can make homemade salsa?” 🙂 Let’s just say, salsa making in our home has become a sweet, little tradition between he and I. Love it!

- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 10 minutes
- Yield: 10 + servings 1x
Description
This salsa is super fresh and is loaded with tons of great flavor. It takes just minutes to throw together, and is great as a healthy snack or fun meal add-on.
Ingredients
- 5 Tomatoes, diced
- 1 medium Yellow Onion, diced
- 1 Jalapeño Pepper, diced
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 Lime, freshly squeezed juice
- 1 bunch Fresh Cilantro, to taste
- Himalayan Pink Salt, to taste
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Veggies: Roughly chop up the tomatoes, onion, jalapeño pepper, garlic and fresh cilantro, and then add to a blender or food processor.
- Blend: Pulse or blend until all ingredients are well combined, but still chunky.
- Season: Add the juice of one whole lime. Then season to taste with salt and pepper.
Equipment
Notes
- Jalapeño Pepper: If you like your salsa spicy, leave the rib and seeds in. If you want it less hot, cut the rib and seeds out.
- Tomatoes: If your tomatoes are very juicy, take the insides out of a couple. This will ensure a nice thick texture; versus one that may be a little watery.
